ABOUT KELE
Instructing since 1998 and professionally certified since 2000, Kele Coloma learned to ski recreationally long before that. Falling in love with the snow as a child while living in Europe and vacationing in Lake Tahoe created a love of the outdoors. Whether it's a water, land, or mountain activity, she will always be eager to participate.
Kele shares her passion of skiing in her personalized lessons on the snow. Her mission is to introduce and enhance the skiing culture and lifestyle to the entire family. As a Certified Children's Specialist, she is sensitive and caring with the little ones, always singing the newest kids songs with them on the chairlift! Parents often return to her with the siblings, relatives and friends because she makes learning to ski fun for all ages from beginner to advanced.
Kele's two grown daughters were in Mammoth at just 3 weeks old and in ski lessons by 3 years old. Both were on their high school ski & snowboard racing team, competing at State Level and even went on to be instructors themselves. Alina, the older of the two, taught snowboarding in Mammoth alongside the instructor that taught her to ski when she was a toddler! She has been an AASI Certified Snowboard Instructor since 2001. Alina now has three young children. James (10), Lucca (8), and Dante (5) who all love to ski and snowboard any chance they get! The youngest granddaughter will be 3 this spring but you know she'll be on skis before that birthday!
Kele is an avid tennis player and is working on her golf game. She resides in Orange County, CA during the off season and is available to travel and/or assist with your childcare needs year-round on or off the mountain.
